Hector Rail will transport more than 125,000 cars annually

Hector Rail and ARS Altmann have agreed that Hector Rail will transport cars from southern Germany. In total, Hector Rail will drive about 600,000 km per year for ARS Altmann. This agreement shall be valid for three years.

ARS Altmann is a provider of wagon transport solutions and was founded in 1975. The annual turnover is around 300 million euros.

The wagons are provided by ARS Altmann.

"We are proud that ARS Altmann has placed so much trust in us in this business. This is our first contract in wagon transport and an important step in our strategy to become an important part of German rail transport," says Mats Nyblom, Managing Director of Hector Rail AB.

Traffic will start on January 9th. The annual production will exceed 125,000 cars, which also means that in the course of the three year contract about 400,000 cars will be transported.
