Hector Rail signs new contract with Collicare Logistik

On September 20, Collicare Logistics and Hector Rail AB signed a three-year contract that begins on October 16. The two companies will work together to connect two remote locations with an efficient and fast new route.

"The train runs directly from Italy to Norway and offers the fastest transit time on the market," says Ronny Nordmark, Development Manager at Collicare. This means a fast, inexpensive and predictable shipping of our customers' goods. „

"We have decided to invest in rail transport now in order to offer the cheapest transport from Italy to Norway. It is also the most environmentally friendly method of transporting goods. We want to continue to focus on the environment, and this train is definitely a step in that direction," says Nordmark.

"We are delighted to build this new partnership with Collicare Logistics and support them in their activities. Our flexibility and approach to finding viable routes and solutions has created this high-speed link and we are very much looking forward to its commissioning," says David Knowles, Managing Director of Hector Rail AB.

Hector Rail will assist in the transport of general cargo from Parma (Italy) to Rolvsoy (Norway). The goods wagons are unloaded from Rolvsoy and then transported to Gotenburg. The locomotive will travel back to Basel in preparation for the next route. This contract applies to 1 weekly train running from Friday to Monday.
